The Impact of Existing and New Hate Crime Laws on Juror Decision Making: Ensuring Equality of Outcomes
Martha's research focuses on the impact of hate crime laws on juror-decision making, investigating attitudes from a psychological-criminological perspective. She is interested in researching misogyny hate crime and disability hate crime more specifically. Martha is based at the University of Greenwich in London and supervised by Michèle Birtel, Josh Davis and Louise Hewitt.

An Investigation of Identity, Ostracism and Mental Wellbeing in University Graduates
Devanshi's PhD research aims to investigate the relationship between ethnicity, ostracism, mental wellbeing and social identity among BAME alumni students who have graduated within the past three years. She uses quantitative and qualitative methods. Devanshi is based at the University of Greenwich in London and supervised by Oliver Robinson, Michèle Birtel and Amena Amer.
She is also a Research Assistant on the project Bridging the Divide: Piloting an Intergroup Contact Intervention in the Context of Brexit, led by Michèle Birtel and Nicole Tausch from the University of St Andrews.
